Here at Ponderosa Acupuncture, we are taking extra precautions in order to ensure the safety of everyone who enters our office. This is being done in the following ways:
First, we are scheduling fewer patients each day to ensure that there is plenty of time in-between appointments to disinfect the entire office, including the most commonly touched surfaces. Your practitioner will also be disinfecting her hands even more frequently than usual and wearing a face mask for the duration of patient treatments.
Second, we will be contacting everyone 2-3 days before their appointments to prescreen. If you are experiencing any symptoms such as fever or chills, cough, fatigue, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, please let us know. If you need to reschedule your appointment, we can make accommodations.
Third, it is required that all patients come into our office for their appointments wearing the appropriate face covering. It can be cloth or a surgical type mask, and it must cover your nose and mouth for the entirety of your office visit, including during your treatment. We will also be using a no-touch thermometer to take everyone's temperature upon arrival, as an added safety measure.
